so i found some time in my busy morning at 8 AM to update you all on some things before i have to run to catch a bus. GAH, here it goes.
last week i had the absolute pleasure of working with a wonderful friend & stylist Marie Leigh Toure; only this time i was the one in front of the camera, oh boy!
MLT went to work and styled me in a sexy black dress & killer boots from aldo. she accessorized me from head to toe in fab jewellery & then we headed to the rooftop of her apartment for a mini photoshoot.
i gotta say though, just like nobody can just pick up acamera and be a photographer, not just anybody can pick out clothes and style someone. marie leigh is clearly passionate about fashion & styling, and it shows in her ownwardrobe on a day to day basis as it is!
i was a little apprehensive at first as i'm not used to being the one being photographed, but she made me feel super comfortable. i guess as a photographer sometimes the 'poses' come naturally; you just see in your head how you would want it set up, so you just emulate your own vision, and it kinda worked i guess! i got a little scared at times that i would trip on my heels and fall over the edge of the building (don't be ridiculous mandz...).
my tiny fear of heights aside, i think i rocked it. the view of the old port was sensational, i defs would do many shoots up there if given the chance!
all in all it was a great experience.

(ps. please don't mind my lack of creativity in this post. it's uber early in the morning and i haven't had my proper dose of caffeine yet... sigh...)
