it isn't easy, especially when dealing with sticky blood; but george was so enthusiastic about the shoot it made me even more excited to get a move on with it!
the idea for the shoot actually came to me in my sleep.
after hyping up the movie 'the human centipede' for myself, i guess a crazy, bloody surgeon shoot was bound to pop into my mind.
as most people know, i'm an experimentalist.
i'm slightly embarrassed to admit that considering photographers SHOULD know what the eff they're doing, but not me. i enjoy the process of figuring out which lighting scheme works, moving lights around here & there, playing with the exposures etc.. rather than knowing right off the bat.
it's all part of the fun of it!
that being said, i totally went out on a limb when setting up the lights for this shoot, but luckily enough it came out spot on how i wanted it to. experimentalist photogs for the win! :)
