camera withdrawal.

all summer i barely picked up my camera, unless it was for something related to Lady Dutch.
i have been having a serious case of camera withdrawal, and i have been itching to just do a spontaneous, no strings attached shoot with natural lighting.
thankfully my sweet friend & fellow classmate and i always seem to team up and do mini photo shoots with one another.
so yesterday we got our act together and spent the day shooting.
it felt AMAZING. i had missed it so much.

don't get me wrong, shooting for Lady Dutch and for other events is great; but there is nothing like the satisfaction of having a photo be entirely your own.
to me, doing shoots like this (or in the studio), makes me feel whole. it completes me as a person, it makes me who i am.

when i'm shooting, it's the time you will see me in full & at my best.
photography is my passion, it's in my soul, so any chance i get to let myself be free in my art i'm gunna take it!

enough gushing, i know it's boring.
here's a few roughly edited shots from our shoot.
as i've mentioned in previous posts, me getting a new computer has resulted in me not having photoshop, so editing has been slow & unsatisfying for me. just saying.

say hello to my beautiful friend caroline.
votes on her being a model?! I SAY YES.
